A gift for drivers

The 13th Sobriety Days are underway. Traditionally, the police joined the action of the City, which from today to Saturday will lead intensified checks on the sobriety of drivers. On Thursday, motorists were given a small gift from the president.

The 23rd Sobriety Days were inaugurated on Saturday in the Main Square. This is an action that aims to promote life without addictions. “Tomorrow we address socio-therapeutic day care centers to a traditional event: a run, attractions under the slogan ‘Lenya Lode’. On Saturday, a family festival will take place, at the scout’s stanchion. This is an event that has been accompanying the sobriety days from the very beginning. It is an opportunity to meet people from the sobriety environment, to have fun together sober. On Saturday evening, we invite you to the bicycle and roller rally ‘Kalisz is an example’.” says Janus, head of the Department of Social and Housing Affairs.

 

The start of the rally is planned at dusk, around 19.30. The ride will start with the participants’ meeting in the parking lot. The first 300 cyclists and skaters who will come to the “start line” will receive high visibility vests from the organizers.
