The association Attitude Prevention, created by insurers, distribute free safety vests for adults and children on highways areas of the A6 last summer.
When will these safety vest distributions take place?
7 out of 10 parents check that they have a safety vest with reflective tapes, safety equipment (spare wheel, anti-puncture kit …) and a warning triangle. On the other hand, they are only one third to possess a vest adapted to the size of their children.
In children, the wearing of the safety vest is still little known. Indeed, they are only 45% to know that it is necessary to put one out of the vehicle in case of accident or breakdown.
The association Attitude Prevention, therefore, takes advantage of departures on summer holidays to meet motorists. It will distribute free safety vests with reflective fabric to young and old.
These operations will take place on motorway areas of Burgundy: Bone Tally (A6 motorway Paris-Lyon sense) and Bone Mercerize (A6 motorway direction Lyon-Paris).
