Last week was the safety of the Warsaw streets in 2013, and the authorities and the police said they would encourage the use of retro-reflective accessories while riding a motorbike.
On the ZDM website Warsaw we read that the campaign is part of the Decade of Road Safety Action 2011-2020. Officials want to focus on motorbike and scooter drivers. At the same time they admit that they are aware that the effects will not be visible immediately (if at all, given the fact that Polish motorcyclists love to go black). The campaign is also intended to encourage two-wheelers to discuss how they can improve their road safety.
The campaign’s ambassadors were Power Prussia. As part of the campaign, there will be advertising spots, and meetings will be held to address safety issues among motorcyclists. Generally speaking, safety is not just a branded helmet and stuffed with protect- torts, but also elements that allow you to be noticed on the road.
Here the choice is great – you can buy light-colored or reflective clothing and you can also wear a safety vest or reflective band. Of course, in addition to driving in the built-up area, it is worth to slow down. We know that driving according to regulations is still pathological on our roads, so let’s just say that adding up to a limit of 10 or 20 km / h always gives the driver a better chance of seeing us than adding 50 km / h or more.
Do officials and police actually want to take a more diplomatic dialogue with motorcyclists? The answer to this question will probably be familiar with the advent of summer.
