Several hundred Nazis in the Nordic resistance movement and their supporters in reflective vest marched today from the dome to Park in central Borlänge, where they have given speeches. Many of those involved in the Nordic Council of Resistance, NMR, is dressed in black pants and white shirts.
– You see that several of them have safety vest under their shirts. Some have riot shields, reports Swedish Radio reporter Jenny.
But there are also more people who join the train – a first estimate is that it involves about 200 people in total.
Swedish Radio has tried to interview participants NMR but do not want their followers talk to journalists.
– It was still a girl who said she was here to demonstrate against what she sees as treason, but then she stopped when she was talking to me – they should not be interviewed by anyone other than their own media, reports Jenny, reporter on the scene.
The plan is that the Nazis will march against Maserhallen and then down towards the center of Borlange.
And there are many who are looking at the Nazi demonstration.
– It does not look good, says a person we met.
Mats Karlsson is another of the standing and watching.
– I do not understand how they can set up and go like that and cry. I think it is wrong, he says. Someone met up with the Nazis and the police had to make a quick intervention.
P4 Dalarna talked to the police spokesman, Stefan Dangardt, about 13:40, and he says they have rejected some people dressed as clowns who were heading toward a place where the police thought they could disrupt order. But the police in safety clothing have not been deprived of liberty someone and says that situation so far is in the planning.
