Both in our country and beyond its borders must be stocked primarily with a fire extinguisher and warning triangle with reflective material. Importantly, the two pieces of equipment must have the approval mark. No fire extinguisher and a triangle with the risk mandate from 20 to 500 zł. The fire extinguisher must be located so that, if necessary, they can use it immediately. The contents of extinguishing agent must not be less than 1 kg.

In Poland there is no requirement to have a first aid kit and a reflective safety vest, but definitely worth it to have in your car, for your safety and others. These elements are mandatory in the vast majority of EU countries, including France, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Czech Republic, Germany and Slovakia. Interestingly, in the latter vest it is also required for the passenger.

Drivers often forget about the appropriate marking the vehicle is stationary (during accident or catch a “rubber”). For the lack of or inadequate signaling the stop you have to reckon with a penalty of 150 zł, and on highways rank order provides for an amount twice. Similarly, this applies also for determining the towed vehicle.

France, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Slovakia – in these countries are necessary spare bulbs. In France, you must also have two disposable breathalyzers for the driver and passenger. In Spain, however, they are required spare glasses and reflective vest if our license is information about the mandatory use glasses.
