Communists in yellow vests will go to protest against Wenceslas

Hundreds of Communists in reflective vests will protest against housing, water, electricity or gas. The event will take place on Wenceslas Square in Prague at the end of January. Communists have been inspired by protests in France. This is informed by the Lidovky.cz portal.

The demonstration, to be held on Saturday, 26 January, is organized by the Communist Party of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic together with the Union of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia, the Communist Youth Union and the Alliance of Labor and Solidarity and the Women’s Left Club.

“No one else will do it for us. We have enough to raise the cost of living! ”

In addition to high rents in Prague and rising mortgages, they also do not like rising energy prices.

“Rising rents have been boosted since the beginning of the year with the rise in commodities that have a significant impact on the housing such as gas, electricity, heat and, to a certain extent, water and sewage,” said MKS secretary of the Prague Communist Party Viktor Puzzler

The organizers also invite participants to take reflective tapes. They became famous thanks to the massive protests against rising fuel prices and housing in France at the end of last year.

“We do not pretend there is some inspiration,” admits the secretary of the Prague Communists.
