They seek to regulate the use of skateboards and restrict their use to certain streets

An advisory commission from Unease proposes that its use is prohibited in the avenues and that in all cases case and reflective vest be required.

The National Road Safety Unit (Unease) will propose the restriction on the use of skateboards and electric bicycles to operate on secondary streets and bike paths, but not on the main avenues.

Next Wednesday, a proposal from the Vehicles Advisory Board of Unease, which seeks to restrict the circulation of these new electric vehicles, will be voted on in Duration, reports E Observation.

In addition to the authorized places, safety measures will be required, such as the use of a helmet and reflective vest with reflective tapes.

Each one of the interference will be able after adapting the proposal to adapt it to its department.

In recent weeks the company Grin was installed in Montevideo with some 200 electric skateboards in operation.

Authorities of the Mexican company told Underlined that they expect regulation to decide how to continue, and see what subcategory of electric transport will be included to know what taxes they would have to pay.

They delivered vests to motorcyclists in order

Yesterday, on the Costal DE Asuncion, traffic police officers and officials of the National Traffic and Road Safety Agency, and the Ministry of Public Works donated vests to motorcyclists in order, the vests with reflective tapes, and distributed information on road safety education to visitors.

Alejandro Hernandez, director of campaigns and education in Security of the National Agency of Traffic and Road Safety, together with the Transparency Directorate of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications, took yesterday his awareness campaign to the Costal DE Asuncion.

“We provide informative brochures about the six risk factors that we consider essential for pedestrians and drivers to learn: to avoid the consumption of alcoholic beverages when driving, the use of hard hats and safety belts, respect for traffic signals, respect to speed limits and child restraint systems. Reflective vests were provided for motorcyclists who comply with traffic and safety laws, “he said.

This campaign began in December and will continue until March 20. Next week will move to Pitapat, and then, to other major resorts.

“The statistics are what motivate us to do this type of campaign in summer since in 2017 there were 1,198 deaths due to traffic accidents. 54% of these deaths were motorcyclists, and we also speak of more than 64,000 wounded. The Summer Safe campaign has two edges: one is the control of documentation that must be carried by drivers and controls en route, and the other is that of awareness with the appropriate road behavior tips, “he said.

Meanwhile, Carolina Centurion, director of Transparency and Citizen Participation of MOPC, said that they are also working with people to inform and participate in the campaign, in addition to making them aware of the importance of Law N ° 5282/14 of Access to public information.

“We provide leaflets and toll-free numbers so that citizens can make complaints or suggestions. People can call from 0800 11 9990 from the bottom line to make all kinds of complaints, from traffic problems to poorly executed works anywhere in the country, “he said.

The campaign continued all afternoon on a busy Costal, which presented several activities.

The “Safe holidays 2019” campaign has started

Pupils from five provinces already have winter holidays. As every year, at that time, the police and inspectors of the Main Inspectorate of Road Transport are inspecting coaches carrying children to rest. They implemented as part of the “Safe holidays 2019”.

“The most important in connection with the beginning of winter holidays are safe to access to the place of rest of children and young people and all those who accompany them,” said Minister of Infrastructure Andrzej Adamczyk on Saturday.

On Saturday, in the parking lot at 7 national roads, the Minister of Infrastructure and the Chief Inspector of Road Transport participated in the control of coaches starting this year’s campaign “Safe holidays 2019”.

From Saturday to January 27, there will be holidays for students from the following provinces: Pomeranian, Lesser Poland, and Greater Poland.

The minister reminded that the 16th Road Transport Inspectorate, apart from the normal activities on national roads, pays particular attention to the safety of children who are going on vacations and holidays.

“Checks are not aimed at restrictive action on drivers and bus owners. The aim is to ensure that the buses are in a proper technical condition, do not pose a threat to other road users, especially to passengers whom they are transporting,” Minister Adamczyk emphasized.

“It is important that the drivers who manage these buses meet all the standards have the appropriate qualifications, certificates, not overtired, which is extremely important and they were in an absolute state of sobriety,” he stressed.

Minister Adamczyk added that today entrepreneurs already know that no bus, which children and young people go to wintering grounds and return from them cannot have faults.

“Parents who send their children to rest should be sure that they will be safely and safely return from this rest,” emphasized Adamczyk. Chief Inspector of Road Transport, Alvin, said that inspectors will control coaches until the last days of holidays in all provinces.

He added that parents who want the vehicle to be checked should contact the Provincial Road Transport Inspectorate in advance.

Buses will also be controlled in holiday resorts. ITD inspectors throughout the winter holidays will check, among others technical condition of vehicles braking and steering system, their correct lighting, tires.

A year ago, during the holidays, the Road Transport Inspection inspected 1,300 vehicles, 53 registration documents were stopped, 21 coaches (about 1.6%) were in a very bad technical condition and a driving ban was issued. All drivers were sober. Inspectors imposed 296 criminal penalties.

Alvin reminded that drivers should be rested and respect the permissible working time, and if they are going on a long route, have an alternate. Daily, the driver can drive a maximum of 10 hours twice a week, on the other days of 9 hours, and after 4.5 hours of continuous driving should take a minimum of 45 minutes break.

Małopolskie Province Governor Pieter Wick said that in 1300 facilities in Małopolskie, children and youth from all over the country will be resting. He appealed recalling the recent tragedy in the escape room so that the guardians and parents would pay attention to how they spend their children’s time.

The Deputy Marshal of the voivodeship, Lukasz Smock, said that the advantages of Małopolskie make everyone go towards the winter capital – Zakopane. “Resorts, Highlanders are prepared to receive guests, young people, tourists, and the slopes are snowed,” said Smock.

Adamczyk appealed to entrepreneurs dealing with transport, drivers and all persons who go on an individual vacation: do not hurry, let’s drive safely, equip the cars with car seats and everything necessary to transport children, keep the sense on the road.

On Saturday morning, the Minister of Infrastructure was handed over to all drivers who had no control, handed a plush crocodile – an ITD mascot, and the children received reflective vests, armbands with reflective materials, and scarves.

The Senior in the Dark passed the bypass

A 90-year-old woman died in a cervical hospital, which was hit by a car on the highway on Monday. The Senior traveled through a bustling road in places where it was forbidden by signs, in the dark and without reflective vests.

The accident happened on Monday, at about half past seven. Toyota’s twenty-six-year-old driver drove in Prague, and near the department store, he collided with a pedestrian.

“One hundred and the eighty-year-old woman suffered very severe injuries. First aid was given to her by the South Bohemian Medical Emergency Rescue Service crew. Subsequently, the rescue workers transported it to the hospital, “police spokesman Milan said.

This morning, a report from the hospital came out saying that the senior had succumbed to the injuries. “The police have started criminal proceedings for suspicion of committing a crime of negligence,” Milan said.

The woman went to places where traffic signs were forbidden. At the same time, the darkness and the senior did not have reflective clothing or reflective materials.

“We remind all pedestrians and cyclists to remember these elements,” Milan pointed out.

On-site police officers took a breath test with a negative result while listening to witnesses.

According to Milan, the police can hardly exclude whether a woman would commit suicide in this way.

Instead, pedestrians choose quite often despite the ban. About two months ago, another woman died when she crossed over. This year, 67 people died on South Bohemian roads.

“Do not be a blindfold: bike in Aachen, but bright”

Stephanie Kipper promotes the campaign “Do not be a blindfold: bike in Aachen, but bright” for a working lighting on the bike – especially in the dark season.

“Do not be blindfishes: bike in Aachen, but bright”: With this action, the city of Aachen is again promoting road safety for cyclists this autumn with functioning lighting and reflective clothing.

It did not take a minute, as Stephanie Kipper and her team met three traffic offenders. All of them were traveling with their bicycles and did not disregard traffic lights or traffic signs; on the contrary, they were barely visible.

That this is especially dangerous in the current season emphasized Kipper, project manager of the urban campaign “Bike in Aachen” insistently: “The dark months have begun and you realize that the light on the bike does not work but has no time to fix it, However, anyone who wants to be perceived on the bike as an equal road user, needs a working light and reflective vest on the bike. “For this reason, Kipper and her team stood in the context of the action” Do not be a blind fish: bike in Aachen, but bright! “At various locations in the Downtown and made road users aware of missing or barely visible light.

The action took place for the second time. “When it gets dark so early, accidents often happen that would have been avoidable if the bicycle had been adequately lit,” said Kipper. The aim was, to sensitize the cyclists to make sure that their lighting system work. In luggage had the actors bright vests with reflective materials, stickers and also glowing arm and leg bandages. As a result, at least some cyclists could continue their way a little safer.

300 injured cyclists

Nearly 40 percent of cyclists are traveling in the dark with poor or no lighting. The number of injured cyclists recorded in police accidents has been around 300 for several years. Not to be forgotten is the fact that bicycles must be equipped with a functioning lighting system, as stipulated by the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO). Anyone traveling without proper lighting not only risks fines but also risks being overlooked in traffic in the dark.

“Everyone knows that driving without light is forbidden. Therefore, we do not work with a raised finger, but try to get attention with unconventional methods. Humor brings here more than the reference to paragraphs. “summed up Kipper. And so, for one or the other well-equipped and thus well-visible cyclist, there was also a small chocolate saloon to reward.

In the autumn, let’s be careful on the road!

Autumn is a dangerous time for all road users. Police statistics show that the most accidents happen at this time of the year. During this time, the conditions on the road are very variable and dangerous for both drivers and pedestrians who become less visible on the road. Fast darkening, rainfall, slippery surface, are factors negatively affecting safety.

Heavy rain, fog, early darkening, reduce visibility on the road. The wet and slippery roadway is also not conducive to the driver. An additional difficulty is often lying on the roadway leaves – in such conditions, the braking distance may dangerously extend, and in extreme cases, the driver may slip and not control the car. In the autumn, roadways may already be frozen, and therefore slippery, and in such situations, the wheels easily lose their grip. Overtaking in such conditions, passing, cornering can be very dangerous. You should pay special attention to the depressions of the terrain, on hills, near forests and water reservoirs – the road can be particularly slippery there. Exercise extreme caution near pedestrian crossings. Also, be careful when commuting to them. If the pedestrian enters the passage, the driver may not slow down.

The police recommend that you check the condition of the tires in the vehicle in use (tread depth and correct tire pressure) and vehicle lighting. Drivers should remember to navigate the road with lights on and observe speed limits. It is worth remembering that in conditions of reduced air transparency, we should turn on the low beam, and if the visibility is limited to less than 50m, turn on the rear fog lamps. Note that we do not move on daytime running lights with reduced air transparency. Such security measures can save lives not only for us but also for other road users.

Changing the aura forces drivers to change their driving technique and adjust their speed to the prevailing road conditions – unfortunately, many of them seem to forget about it. We remind you that exceeding the speed limit and not maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle in front is one of the most common causes of accidents in autumn. If there is fog or heavy rainfall and heavy traffic on the road – you should slow down to the speed allowing the driver to control the traffic situation. Remember – permissible speed does not always mean speed SAFE! It is also important to remember about the proper and compliant use of fog lights and daytime running lights.

This period is also dangerous for drivers of motorcycles, who are increasingly using their machines until late autumn, and even throughout the year. Unfavorable atmospheric conditions reduce the grip of asphalt tires and even a seemingly ineffective fall when trying to brake suddenly can end tragically.

A special appeal is also directed at pedestrians not to go directly in front of an oncoming vehicle. Even at the pedestrian crossing, make sure that the driver can slow down. Of course, the pedestrian takes precedence over the passage, but here the principle of limited trust is most applicable.

Every pedestrian and cyclist should also remember about their safety and take care to be visible. A reflective vest, keychain, headband or even a flashlight will make it easier to see the oncoming driver when moving on a poorly lit road. We would like to remind you that from August 31, 2014, all pedestrians who move around the dusk along the way outside the built-up area must have a reflection visible to the drivers. The lack of a reflective element is threatened by a fine. Although traffic regulations do not impose an obligation to use vests and reflective elements in the built-up area, they, to a large extent, improve visibility. Therefore, we encourage pedestrians to wear reflective clothing which made of reflective materials at any time of the day, also in built-up areas, because they greatly improve visibility and avoid tragedy. They give drivers valuable time to take the right response – often saving lives and health.

An additional difficulty in the autumn (not only for drivers) is often worse well-being. The bad mood can affect the speed of reaction and concentration, which is also worth remembering when getting behind the wheel of a vehicle and moving on the road.

Road safety awareness

In order to create awareness for cyclists, regarding the rules of the road to meet the street movements of the city.

In this regard, the president of the association Carlos Mendoza said that the initiative to go forward is part of the concern about the transport problems that exist in the market, because it is not only the driver should know the rules on this issue, but also the bicycles and motorcycles must be Find out what they should and should not do when driving on city streets.

He explained that this was the first time this activity was carried out and part of his contribution to the training of citizens who were more responsible for road issues.

“Our idea is to promote road safety. Everyone must have a safety point, riding a bicycle and a motorcycle. Self-driving is not all responsibility, but also because those who use the vehicle do not include the rules that the engine must know,” he said.

Before the tour began, each participant received a reflective vest to allow the driver to see at night.
