Witness of the death at Pesky brood

The driver on Tuesday night struck a married couple who were not wear reflective vests near Pesky brood. The man was dead, the woman fought for life, but died shortly after the accident. The witness described the entire tragic event.

“A lifetime experience, seeing how someone is knocking a car,” she confided to a witness through Facebook and shared a photo she had taken from her own car window. “Framer in place of the dead, his lady’s open cranial bone fracture, to the arrival of the ambulance in consciousness, but the rescuers had to resuscitate after a while,” she described the horror she witnessed.

“Human life is so fragile, it’s enough if people were seen on the road, no illumination, no reflective materials, nothing,” the woman added. According to local people, however, the crossing of the road is commonplace at the site of the tragedy.

“Very often in this place people in dark clothes, who are unfortunately many times seen in the last moment, are very sad, everyone should think about their health and really have reflective clothing,” one of the many discusses. Read more here

“The driver who struck them have a psychological trauma in life, collapsed at the scene of an accident, and I was in shock,” said the witness. “Two members of the post-traumatic care team were called to the accident, the firefighters provided psychic assistance to the car driver, illuminated the scene of the incident, and cooperated with the Czech Police in the investigation and subsequent obstruction of the road,” Yaroslavl Gabriel said.

According to the witness, a woman of sixty-eight years old did not have the chance to prevent the tragedy: “The driver could not have been able to see them.” The police have not yet spoken about the cause of the accident, but according to the spokesperson, investigators are intensively working on the case.

People started cleaning with the help of volunteer firefighters

On Saturday, around 14:00, people at various ages began to gather at the fire department, all of them were wearing the same reflective clothing. First of all, this year, volunteer firefighters, in cooperation with the municipality, joined the event Let Us Clean the World, Let’s Clean Up The Czech Republic.

The idea came from the coach of young firemen Ditka Matos. “We remembered the last minute, so there was no more reflective material from the organizer, but the kids were enthusiastic about this idea, and instead of regular training they enjoyed the outdoors so we did not hesitate and started preparations,” she explained.

First we asked for a blessing village, then we created a poster where we specified the time and place of the meeting. We called our clean up to clean up Kosice and its surroundings. “We had a little worry that we do not have much to do, because this afternoon was a football match on the local court, but the opposite was true,” Ditka Matos said with a smile.

After careful recalculation, 43 volunteers were involved not only from the fire department, but as a separate unit, members of the hunting association worked, as well as municipal representatives, parents with children and other citizens. Not one bag of 50 has gone to the crush – so, on average, one full one weighed about 20 kilograms, we managed to help out of 1000 kilograms of rubbish. Tonnage of waste is no longer a number.

The commanders of the five teams at the start were given maps with their tracks and their descriptions, each of whom drew plastic bags and a string that did not have a working glove or reflective vest. The first route was probably more difficult to clean. It was in the direction of plan and lunacy and the section around the pond soberly. Jerome Ferny, Mayor of Jerome Ferny and his team of “grown-ups” got this on his hips. He reminded me of the end of the joke: “Thank you very much, we chose the worst of us, we did.” His cleaning team consisted of his wife Yaroslavl and daughter Lucie, the mayor of SDH Kosice Vaclav Kroner and her husband Herrick appreciated the excellent organization and their whole team: “The cooperation was great, the participants were nice and they worked like dragons. The enemy was just a wind. “She added one observation:” On a Saturday bike ride, we recorded a mess on the Doubt – round route, if not to join the next time and the cottage. ”

The waste was left on the road in black bags and, as reported in the radio, our pickers picked it up. At about 16 o’clock, a full Avid village was leaving the collection yard. Panel and his hunting team filled the litter of their small tractor. Among the biggest attractions, teams included boats, monitor, enamel bucket, golf ball, boots, car seat or car fender. The reward for all was a great fire on the fire for children, adult lemonade with beer. Thanks to all who helped both the organization and those involved in the cleaning, it was a really good afternoon and we are looking forward to next year.

Bikers welcomed Saturday’s security event

The brisk riding of bikers has become excellent. Bikers have been praising the preventive activity aimed at safety and the importance of wearing safety clothing.

More than a hundred bikers got to the airport near Bernice on Saturday, 19 May morning. There they received reflective vest, and then accompanied by a police force for about a hundred kilometers long ride. There was a nationwide preventive activity aimed at the safety of bikers. The project bears the name Let’s start together or Kalama down.

The program then continued on the Jihlava’s polygon, where the goal was to drive together. “Within the training center area, demonstrations of safe driving and active safety training were conducted for individuals,” said police spokeswoman Dana. Bikers arrived and did not take part in the rides. Among other things, the former motorcycle racer and nine-time Rally Dakar with his family.

He also brought a small Honda Money Motorcycle with which he set a world record of 160 kilometers per hour nine years ago. This time his son, Kistna’s eight-year-old son, was beating along the Jihlava polygon. Wife of Vera then introduced a special electric tricycle for immobile people that Kaftans himself developed and manufactured.

As part of security awareness, a motorcycle vest was also presented, which has reflective tapes and in the event of a fall would blow the airbag. The vest can be used repeatedly thanks to remove CO2 bottles. “The participants in the Jihlava preventive project were highly appreciated and most of them said they would like to be back in a year because such activities really have meaning and purpose,” said Kirstin.

Attention, drivers!

Winter has got its rights, and drivers are forced to wear winter tires. So far no fines have been issued, but police say they will be penalizing drivers.

Also, no driver should go into traffic if his car is not properly equipped. There are objects that are legally required to be held in the trunk. Otherwise, drivers may face ugly fines and penalty points.

The medical kit, the fire extinguisher, the reflective vest and the two reflective triangles required for signaling in the event of a breakdown or accident should not be absent from any luggage compartment, and preferably within the shelf life.

All these equipment is mandatory, and their lack can lead to damaging fines.

The penalty provided by the Road Code for those who do not have appropriately equipped machines is 4 or 5 points, equivalent to a fine ranging from 580 to 725.

“Thus, for the period January 1 – December 31, 2018, the fine is paid at the amount of 145, as it is today, without increasing according to the gross minimum salary in the guaranteed economy”, writes in a statement of the Executive.

In other words, nothing changes in the amount of fines this year compared to last year. The fine was still 145. It should be noted, however, that the capping is only set for 2018. This means that if no new capping comes in, by January 2019 it will increase to 190.

With a fine of 290 or 435, drivers who speak on the phone while driving without a “hands-free” device, as well as those who do not signal when changing the direction of travel, will still be sanctioned and passengers who do not wear seat belts. Also, pedestrians who violate traffic rules (without wearing safety clothing)may be filed with the same amount.

Fines of 580 or 725 apply to drivers who do not give priority to pedestrian crossings, switch to the red traffic light or overpass the traffic lights off the traffic lights / crossing the railroad level to overcome the legal speed of 21-30 km/h for the transport of minors without adequate safety systems (safety belts or chairs for children), but also for situations such as non-observance of the signs and markings, and lack of medical kits, reflective triangles, hi vis vests and fire extinguishers .

A slightly higher penalty, that is, from 870 to 1,160, applies for exceeding the legal speed by 31-40 km / h, for not respecting the rules on passing priority, overtaking or changing to the red traffic light if there is a accident with material damage. Other examples of facts that could be fined with amounts in this range are: driving with an expired car license or running a car with a lightning or audible warning system.

The biggest fines for individuals are those in the fourth class of sanctions, where the fines that can be applied are between 1,305 and 2,900 and apply to: drivers that exceed.

We have to wear reflective vests after dark

Yesterday we informed about the mysterious figures standing by the roads. From a distance, they look like real people, but they are really only wire-shaped silhouettes that have been put on safety clothing. Today we were able to solve the mystery of metal ‘ pedestrians ‘.

We found a few places, in which pairs of wire silhouettes were placed, and our Readers informed about the next ones.

Today we already know that typical pedestrians were sent to the root roadside by the Active for Development Association, and our assumptions about the “mission” of metal people were hit.

Unfortunately, there have been many accidents involving pedestrians and, in order to meet the situation, we decided to do something – says the president of the Association, Andrej. – The mere distribution of reflective vests does not bring much effect. You must also try to reach people’s consciousness. During the brainstorming, during the Association meeting, an idea was created to visualize the visibility of pedestrians in a reflective vest and without.

As we wrote yesterday, wire silhouettes appear on the roadside in pairs. In any case, one of the characters is wearing a reflective vest and the other is wearing a dark blouse or T-shirt. As long as both men are quite visible during the day, the situation changes dramatically at night. From a distance, we can see the figure in a reflective vest, while the second one can be noticed only from a close distance.

President of the Association reveals that around twelve pairs of metal silhouettes have already been prepared. Some of them are on the road. Others will just be there. It may also happen that where pedestrians will change their places. The members of the association made the wire silhouettes themselves.

In our association, we have people who professionally do different things. Some work as welders, locksmiths, they are experts.

We would like the human habit of wearing vests when leaving the house after dark. When I go outside in the winter – I take my hat. Even when I do not have it at hand, I’m looking for it. It’s good for it to be the same with the vest. In some Western countries, a man who comes out without a glare is called a suicide.

The campaign enjoys the support of local entrepreneurs and is not limited only to roadside figures. We managed to obtain funds for which the association will purchase reflective vests. However, according to Andrej, mass distribution of them may not bring results. That’s why every member of the organization will carry a dozen or so vests in his car. Whenever he sees a pedestrian without any reflective materials on him after dark, he will give him a vest and encourage him to put it on.

If the city really is “reflective”

The policemen equipped the semi-colonists with reflective vests. The whole group will now be perfectly visible when they are going through the holiday routes.

Today In the “Rondo” football club in Inca, there was a group of 30 semicolons insecurity. Preparing for a pedestrian rally around the city, they learned important rules about their own safety and the importance of using reflective materials on clothing. It is thanks to the policemen of the Prevention Department and the Road Traffic Department.

Knowledge of the basic rules of moving on the road is the key. That is why theory and exercises had to go hand in hand. Children learned in which places and how to cross the road correctly. There was no shortage of hints about contacts with strangers and dogs. Responsible behavior will avoid threats.

During the meeting, the police taught the children how to alert the services if it was necessary. Half-colonies received educational books with traffic regulations and hi vis vests from policemen. Now they are fully prepared for the rally. Successful trips!

‘Litter cleaner’ Anne Baseman gets help from alderman

FRANEKER Anne Baseman got help from Jan, alderman for nature and the environment, during the cleaning up of litter. During this job, Jan expressed his appreciation for Anne, who has taken many initiatives to keep Franker and the environment clean.

Anne went into the Franker streets for the first time, almost four years ago, with the stick and safety vest. He sees the streets as the sign of nature, and who wants to eat a dirty plate?

He started his cleaning round, but his route has now expanded considerably. Via de Skulk Welfare, more and more volunteers (wearing safety clothing when go outside) are joining, so that the area to be kept clean can grow more.

Once a month they combine the cleaning up of the litter with collecting the old paper. This is not only good for the environment but also good for social well-being.

Approximately three times a year, clean-up actions are organized in collaboration with Morin. The volunteers (who wear red reflective vest made of high light reflective tapes) receive a reward for the hard work. Anne sees these initiatives at the starting stage and looks forward to seeing this grow even bigger.

Alderman Jan is very enthusiastic about the initiatives and commitment of Anne to nature. It also works for infectiously. When the environment is clean you will not easily throw something on the ground “.

People who want to lend a hand can do this first of all to put the waste in the garbage can. You can also sign up as a volunteer.

Nokia creates a smart jacket for lifeguards

Google is working on smart clothing through the Jacquard Project, in partnership with Levi’s for a jacket. It is not the only one today. At MWC 2018, Nokia unveiled the fruit of its work, the smart CHASE Lifetouch FR reflective jacket.

Designed in collaboration with South Korean brand Colon, this jacket is the perfect tool for first aid. At first, it looks like a safety clothing quite classic for rescuers.

But she would not be smart and connected if her carrier did not have access to a lot of data. Heart rate, temperature, GPS location, and accelerometer. The version presented at the MWC 2018 had sections on the sleeve and chest allowing the wearer to exchange the modules at will. The CHASE Lifetouch FR jacket could be adapted according to the needs, which are different for a medical team and firefighters, for example, sewn-on reflective fabric on jacket.

Unfortunately, for now, this jacket is more of a concept than a finished product, but according to the projected schedule, production could be launched in the next 12 or 18 months.

Reflective vests and college safety

Forty students from the Vale du Throe secondary school received reflective vests as part of a security operation, handed over by Florence and Daniel Villella, departmental councilors, and Dillon Kelly, a schoolboy and a young departmental councilor (elected from the departmental council of young people from the Tarn).  these vests is printed “Day and night. I save lives”. This is the interest of this operation which benefited nearly 2,000 Farnese schoolboys. These vests can be used on multiple occasions: on foot, by bike, moped, by taking the bus (school transport or regular lines), etc. They are offered on request to college students who have validated their registration on the ENT or the site of the department. “There are 42 colleges in the Tarn, says Florence, and about 5,000 college students. For the moment, just under 2,000 students have taken the step and receive their vests(which made of reflective fabrics). But this operation may be able to be renewed. ”

Every year, many children are involved in serious or even fatal accidents in collisions on the way to school, especially in the autumn when visibility is reduced, especially when the days are narrowing with the passage of time. Based on this observation, the Departmental Youth Council (CDJ), in partnership with the Departmental Committee and organizing committee of the International Federal Week, decided to alert the Farnese students to the need to wear a hi vis vest. Retro reflective safety device to be visible in all circumstances, day and night.

Since its creation in 1992, the CDJ has launched several projects to help improve road safety: poster campaign behind coaches on safety around bus stops, awareness film on the dangers of driving intoxicated, promoting safe means of travel, etc. At the Vale du Throe secondary school, as part of the “Artistic Practices” workshop, schoolchildren produced a clip on the theme of safety that is being edited. Security in all areas is therefore a topical issue within the institution.

Santa Claus not only brings presents but also important tips

On St. Nicholas Day, elementary school children were informed about the correct behavior in the dark: the importance of wearing reflective clothing at night. In tow, Santa Claus had not servant Utrecht, but two policemen and experts from the ADAC.

Santa knows everything. He knows who can write beautifully, paint well or calculate quickly. He knows who a good footballer or a vocalist singer, who is visiting Primary School on December 6, knows a lot more. Namely, how important it is to be clearly visible from the road. And he does not have farmhand Utrecht, but two policemen and experts from the ADAC.

“The safety vest is your flare,” explains the long-bearded and red-robed man to the girls and boys of the class 1b. He brings some to himself. Some wear yellow ADAC vests, others do not. A policeman turns off the light and everyone can see it: anyone who wears a vest is immediately recognizable, but others hardly recognize it – especially not if they wear dark jackets and trousers. First graders also learn how to cross a zebra crossing correctly and how little a driver sees in the dark. After that, of course, comes what everyone has been waiting for: Nicholas opens his bag, chocolate, rulers and reflective tapes come to light. This St. Nicholas day, the children agree, they will not forget so fast.
