Police have got new safety vests

The police introduced a new part of the uniform – reflective vest. They have two designs, reflecting mainly on traffic police and dark blue mainly for police order. New vests allow police officers to have their “mobile office” in their waterproof pockets.

Blue vests were given to the police about three days ago. A hundred samples will be tested by police officers in Prague, South Moravia and Moravia-Silesia. The reflective design was tested for three years. Approximately half a year is already used by the traffic police. “We currently have 2700 pieces,” said Michal of the Directorate of Traffic Police.

Dark vests differ from reflexes. They also have additional buckles for attaching a micro camera or an extra pocket specially designed for a mobile phone. There are also pockets for pencils, blocks, radio, gloves, knife and other accessories.

“Previously, these things were carried by the cops in their pockets, which limited them and did not look good. Now they have virtually everything, such a mobile office, “said police Chief Martin.

The police wanted not only to boast new safety vests but also introduced them for people not to be surprised and did not ask whether they were actually police officers. This has also happened in the past when a new gear was introduced.

A safety vest in the vehicle cabin for holiday

How to make a foreign holiday on your own axis as easily as possible?

According to the Tourist Survey conducted by the Czech Statistical Office, in 2016 our citizens aged 15 and over made 5,552,000 private foreign tours. Longer journeys (at least four nights) were 4,276,000, shorter (with one to three overnight stays) and 1,276,000. On longer journeys, they traveled 48 percent in a passenger car or motorcycle, 14 percent on a bus. Shorter journeys went even on 78% of cases; another 12% opted for a bus.

Even this summer, millions of Czechs will go on their own route to spend at least part of their holiday on a foreign destination. What to do to make the journey and stay as smooth as possible without major complications? We recommend that you pay attention to the following areas:

Technical condition of the vehicle

In addition to checking the vehicle’s technical condition, it is also necessary to remember the check of its mandatory equipment and its possible addition to the country in which we are heading. We also remember a sufficient number of safety vests. At least one vest (here for the driver) is placed in the vehicle cabin.

What about you

After all, it is not bad to write down at least two days before departure what we have to take with ourselves for a holiday – we need medicines, we also check the validity of personal documents or driving license.

Baggage and their storage

Vehicle space options are limited as well as its load capacity. Therefore, it is good to take the holidays with what is needed. “We will store the luggage of the largest and heaviest bag at the bottom of the luggage compartment. On the contrary, by the hand, we should have everything that we will necessarily need on the way. And also – to be sure – a warning triangle, first aid kit and reflective vests for the passengers, “says Roman from the Road Safety Team.

Do not forget about important documents

Do not forget what? Traveling to the EU is sufficient for a valid ID; the driver must have a valid driving license. We will not forget the health insurance card and any insurance of the costs of medical care. And we will also take a green card and a Euro form record of a traffic accident. It is definitely worth checking if we have the current telephone connection to our health insurance company and to the insurance company with which we have insured our motor vehicle. It is also a good idea to make clear what we are entitled to from a motor insurance policy – for example, free assistance in the event of a breakdown or extraction in the event of an accident. In case of a serious complication, it is good to have a telephone number of the Czech embassy in the respective country.

The driver must be fit

The driver must be fit. It is up to him how safe and pleasant the journey is for the co-attackers. Before the ride he should have enough rest. And while driving, remember the regular breaks. Let’s say every two and a half hours do not harm the rest for twenty minutes. Beware of fatigue. Its effect is similar to that of alcohol. The heavily tired driver is just as dangerous as the one who just drank two hard alcohol booties. The likelihood of a fatal accident is increased 7 times. “Fatigue is responsible for up to 10 percent of all road accidents, and motorways are up to 20 percent. The most dangerous is the period from midnight to 4pm. However, it is less known that we may be surprised by the fatigue even during the day – most often between the second and the fourth afternoon, “warns Roman. If it’s a little bit possible, it’s good to rotate for longer rides.

Travel must be safe and relaxing

Even the journey to the desired destination and it is part of our holiday. So why not really enjoy it? For all, it should be safe and comfortable. Co-workers should remember that it is the driver in whose hands they live and their health. And drivers in reflective uniforms should choose a style of driving so that others in the car are not only afraid, but they feel comfortable. “In any case, it is good to expect the possibility of a jam in a traffic jam. That’s why it’s good to have enough fuel in the tank, something to eat in the cabin, and plenty of drinks. Any manifestations of aggression can only make the situation worse, “concludes Roman.

Reflective jackets for refugees

The proposal of the League: “We will provide these tools for free in a home”.

Asylum seekers are a danger to road safety. And ‘This is the last report of Nicola Lodi, responsible for security and immigration Northern League, which collects “several reports of citizens who’ dodge ‘dangerously asylum seekers, either on foot or by bicycle, lacking appropriate reflectors signals over in special lights on cycles, although it is expected by the highway code “.

At the center of the criticism, then, there are the supposed dangers of refugees hosted in the various cooperatives that manage the reception. Host houses often found secluded in the middle of remote countryside and, therefore, immigrants have to travel several kilometers on foot or bike in the narrow streets and dark.

The League then asks Alderman Chirac to prepare a security protocol, perhaps providing a reflective vest. “On what grounds it is advertised very publicly the Italian language courses for refugees and would not work with a real and serious protocol to make sure not to cause danger both for the refugees and for those who may be faced with danger? Cooperatives earn about 35 euro a day and a jacket signaling costs 1.5 Euros, you cannot provide everyone with this security tool?” asks Nicola Lodi.

“As per the protocol, within each reception center there must be at night a manager – recalls the head of the Northern League – in order to help, in this case perhaps accompany, those who have to go out at night without the risk of accidents or cause, because the seats are also secluded in the middle of remote countryside “.

“The Sapping fires immediately – Lodi presses – because it is important to remember the last victim; he died in an accident that involved just an asylum seeker. The Northern League will be activated shortly and will provide free reflective safety vests delivering them at a reception center explaining their function. “

Security inspectors should wear reflective vests

On April 21, some of the 1,900 officers wear reflective vests of the City’s Prevention, Security and Protection Branch (DPSP) demonstrated in front of the Paris City Hall. For over a year, they have been demanding handguns.

Equipped with safety vests, tunas, riot-resistant tear-gas and handcuffs, these inspectors and technicians of public tranquility, approved by the public prosecutor – a status unique in France, in a city that does not count Municipal police “- they feel they are not in a position to ensure the safety of the Parisians (or theirs) and wish to have the same means as the police.

The City assured these agents must wear clothes with reflective material that reflection would be entrusted “to a senior manager of the City”. And the report of this reflection is planned “late September or early October”.

And are you in favor of the arming of the city’s security inspectors?

Insights into the new brewery with wearing a reflective vest

The new Pauline brewery in Longwise is still a large construction site, but the heart of the plant is already being brewed. And before the first brew is ready, Pauline plans an extension.

The powerful, silvery stainless steel tanks are still empty, but in the building next door the first mash pans are already warming up, and the diagrams and measured values light up on the computer screens. “Last week we put our new brew house into operation,” reports Pauline spokeswoman Birgit in reflective vest. The first batch Pauline from Longwise, the first Christian and his coworkers now brew is to be filled ceremoniously on 15 September. However, it will not come into the trade, but will be given away to guests and business partners.

Larger production volumes would not be manageable anyway: Everywhere craftsmen still work in warning safety vests: on the valve matrix, the pipe work in which the beer is to flow from the pressure tanks to the filling plants, as well as in the 28,000- And empties logistics. Here the straightforward forklift trucks are programmed, which are fully automatic boxes, bottles, bottle caps and labels to the exact second and pick up. Outside the area, construction machines instead of beer pots are still running on untapped surfaces.

But that will change quickly. Train to train, brewery for brewery, production is to be relocated from Au to Longwise in the next months. In the middle of 2016, according to Zachery, the brewery is to run completely at the new location.

Pauline needs the capacity of the new brewery urgently

The time is right, because the capacity of the new, ultra-modern brewery is urgently needed. The shops run well. It is so good that Pauline CEO Andreas Steinhart uses an extension option, which he secured with a notarized contract already before the foundation stone last year: A well four hectare property, which in the southeast adjoins the operational area.

The space requirement has to do with a Bavarian peculiarity, as brewery speaker Birgit Zachery explains: “In Bavaria, it is particularly widespread that the breweries still supply the restaurants themselves.” Pauline and his subsidiary Interring: The Company are doing what other wholesalers do 117 employees assemble the containers delivered by the brewery and distribute them to the restaurants with a fleet of 58 trucks. Once this was done, currently the handling center is in Graveling. But there the rental agreement runs out, as Zachery reports. Therefore Interring is now to get a new home right next to the brewery. A logical step, as Zachery says. Instead of trucking and transporting beer trucks and containers from the brewery to Interring as before, they were able to load interring there and bring them back into the city, Interring could now be loaded directly from the production site.

In addition to the new Interring branch, Pauline plans to build a high-rack warehouse on the site: 7000 square meters, up to 30 meters high, two meters higher than the highest building sections of the brewery. When this camp is built, is still open. But what’s going to happen is: Beer, in all the vessels and containers that Pauline has in the program, as Zachery explains.

The keyword “traffic”, however, the alarm bells shriek in the district committee. “It is not yet clear how much of our roads are burdened by the brewery,” says Friedrich. It was only when the brewery was in operation and the first experiences were available that it was possible to make a meaningful decision on enlargement. The district committee is in principle in agreement with the plans, but wants to see the real figures of traffic “from the city administration,” said BA member Schrader (CSU). Already, the building structure with reflective material of the brewery represents a widely visible and prominent point at the motorway crossroads, says the BA. The logistics warehouse is ultimately a supplement. However, towards the committee wants lush greenery. “It should also be examined that the new high-rack warehouse will not be higher than the brewery,” says Schrader.

State Secretary distributed safety vests to seniors

State Secretary, Federal Ministry of Transport, distributed on Tuesday in Bad Nested safety vests to seniors. The action is part of the program “Slow down!” Which aims to reduce the number of road accident victims in the twilight?

Older people are particularly often involved in accidents. According to the Federal Statistics Office, more than half of gotten in traffic pedestrian or cyclist were 2,015 over 65 years. In addition, almost 60 percent of any injured last year in traffic pedestrian lost their lives in the twilight or darkness. Reason enough for Doro thee Bar to visit the old people’s home in Bad Nested in the district Rhone-grave field. Overall, they distributed there 30 safety reflective vests to the residents.

National Traffic Safety Program

2015 nearly 397,000 people nationwide crashed on the road. 3,459 died there. 2011, the number was even higher. At that time, 4,009 people died in road traffic. That same year, a national traffic safety program was started. State Secretary distributed reflective fabric vest to seniors for their safety. It aims to reduce the number of road accident victims by 40 percent by the 2020th

3,500 safety vests for police and civil guards

The Interior Ministry in 2017 will buy a total of 3,500 female safety vests for the National Police and Civil Guard, an acquisition that matches the demand in this regard came by agents of the State Security Forces. The department now runs Juan Ignacio Zoido made the acquisition in a contest that will draw to acquire 5,250 units this pledge security, as published by the Servimedia agency.

The demand for female vests for national police and Civil Guards has been raised repeatedly by groups of agents such as the Unified Police Union (SUP) and the Unified Association of Civil Guards (AUGC). This situation has led to a civil guard Salamanca has declared this last November for insubordination after refusing last August to get a male vest and insist on getting a female who had acquired on their own.

At the same time, according to data of the Interior, between 2012 and 2016 they were acquired 39,500 protective vests with reflective tape for State Security Forces. Specifically, 32,681 were for the National Police and Civil Guard for 5226. Also, within this overall figure 1,500 vests were purchased for the Traffic Civil Guard, whose agents have been in the past shootings and assaults during patrol work are included.

As published ABC, the controversy surrounding the safety vests arose when it was found that those of ‘life’ did not have the same effect on men and women. “They have to be adjusted to the body” to be “real” effective and is “impossible” that which suits a portly 1.90 can be useful to a small woman, denounced the Unified Association of Civil Guards. “Nor is solved with a smaller size,” he notes, because “curves” female make if these safety clothing are “straight” no “protected” and also reduce the ability of movement for actions like “unsheathe the weapon or access the shackles. ” Hence, the claim that is in line with the physiognomy of the agents.

The yellow jacket is compulsory for motorcyclists

This is the case for motorists since 2008, now the bikers will have a yellow reflective vest on hand, either on them or in their vehicle storage (net, safe …). As the 4 wheelers, they will wear when they come down from their vehicle after an emergency stop, to improve their visibility. The measure concerns the users of mopeds, scooters and motorcycles.

Why bikers are reluctant?

Many bikers ignore the new regulations. They think the yellow vest must be worn at all times over the motorcycle jacket. It’s wrong. The regulation includes having to wear this vest permanently hand and wear it only when the rider got off the vehicle during a breakdown or an accident and as a pedestrian is in danger (of a road on an emergency lane …). In case of non-compliance with these new rules, violators will face a fine of 11 Euros if no jacket on board and 135 Euros if they do not carry the following stop emergency.

Some also fear that the measure is a first step and that in time the port is mandatory as soon as they climb aboard their bikes. There is nothing to have such fear. Even in countries where such a measure has been around longer than us, only possession is mandatory at all times, and the port in case of danger.

Finally, for many riders, especially those sports, the problem of lack of space: no “glove box”, no top box … little or no room under the seat … Roll ultra purposes safety vests slip into the glove or pocket!

The circulation of 2-wheels between two rows of cars is partially approved

A decree published in late December 2015 in the Official Journal allows the experimentation of “interfile”. A practice used on the Paris but illegal device. . Since February 2016, in the Ile-de-France, Gironde and the Rhone, the bikers will ride between lanes of cars legally … but with conditions: on certain routes, under certain conditions and at moderate speed.

This inter-files circulation for vehicles with two or three motorized wheels and a maximum width of one meter will be authorized for a period of four years, extendable to a maximum of one year.

Drivers of motorized two-wheelers account for 18% of road deaths

In 2014, the road was wounded and 22,000 killed 790 people among users of motorized two-wheelers. This is 18% of road fatalities, but it is a figure down.

The peak recorded accident rate is between 25 and 49 years, but the risk of fatal accidents are important to 70 years. The risk of being killed in the city is more important for the users of light motorcycles (54%). Nearly half of motorcyclists without reflective clothes killed (47%) are in the summer.

Yellow jackets for a safe way to school

60 school starters the Berger-level school have now received safety vests. Carl Metz, Board Member for Transport and Environment at ADAC Württemberg, they initially gave to Headmistress Petra Dreier and Andrea Feuerstein, who is responsible for the city, among other things for the affairs of the schools.

The race is on for this year’s safety vests action in the district. Graders are equipped at about 16 000 primary schools with the yellow reflective jacket these days. Entertainer showed in the hall of the Berger-level school with an equally entertaining and instructive performance, it is important to be careful on the road and to know the traffic rules. “A Bright Future” is the name of the security action 2016th

Undoubtedly, these are matter that children on the road – and especially in the dark winter months – are more visible. These are the yellow, reflective vests contribute. “You are already made up to 140 meters visible, with dark clothes only from 25 meters”, held Carl Metz in mind. But A Bright is all little girls and boys who do not miss it, every morning to put on the reflective vest and thus clothed on the way to make.

That the students as possible to come to school on foot, which is a concern of Rector Petra Dreier: “The children have to learn on the road, the independent participation.” On the basis of appropriate teaching materials, children are playfully introduced to the issue.
